Destination Guide
RATCHABURI

Dragon Hills Golf ClubThis club boasts 54 holes of golf on three courses-Dragon Pearl, Dragon Green and Dragon Lakes. Designed by Jim Engh, Isao Aoki and Jack Nicklaus, respectively, all three courses are currently playable. The courses offer a combination of undulating fairways and greens, lateral water hazards, 'water carry holes', dog-leg holes and subtle placement of bunkers. Added to this, the scenic background during play is refreshing for the golfer. Hotel accommodations are available, plus a sports complex featuring horse riding, jogging and a fitness center.

Dragon Hills Golf Club

Rachaburi Country ClubAlso known as Castle Hill, the course traces a figure of eight round two hills. On the ridge between them stands a huge European style clubhouse and condotel which dominates the entire setting. The dog-leg second hole is a tough test, as water comes into play on both sides of the fairway. The short third demands a water carry to an island green. There are several dog-leg holes on the back nine. The greens and fairways tend to be rather flat and the bunkers are mostly shallow. Land plots are available and there is also a sports complex.

Rachaburi Country Club

Royal Villa RachaburiThis 18-hole championship course is surrounded by scenic mountains and beautiful trees. Extensive fairway bunkering and plenty of greenside traps calls for precision play. Many of the greens are sloping, so putting can become a test of never. There are many difficult lies to contend with during the course of play, but the course will reward the player who uses strategy, rather than power. The club comes with a pleasant clubhouse, driving range, low-rise condominiums, plus a sports complex. There is also a hotel, as well as a resort and residential compound.
