SAMUTSAKHON
Situated on the Gulf of Thailand just 30 km from Bangkok, Samut Sakhon is an important centre of fresh and processed seafood. Established and run by Mahachai Fishing Co-op, Thale Thai Seafood Market is situated at KM 55 of Rama 2 Road, Tambon Tha Chin, Amphoe Mueang. Covering an area of 60 acres, the market comprises shrimp, fish and general seafood markets. Besides, there are also seafood restaurants and an air-conditioned seafood supermarket. This is the largest and most modern seafood market of Southeast Asia.
