A long-tailed boat can be chartered at the pier in front of Chanthara Kasem National Museum, Pom Phet Pier, and Wat Phananchoeng Pier. The fare depends on the route and duration. Service charge inclusive of food and beverage for a tour around the town of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya is 320 Baht/person for a group of 10 – 30 persons and 300 Baht/person for a group of more than 30 persons. Tha Ton is a village along the Kok riverside, 24 km. north of Amphoe Fang, Chiang Mai. Attractions along the route: Phra That Sub Fang, many tribal villages near the river and hot spring. Cruising along the Chao Phraya River
The Chao Phraya River runs through Pathum Thani province, surrounded by a panoramic view of the community, houses, and beautiful nature. Tourists are able to drop by at many ancient temples on the river banks in Amphoe Mueang and Amphoe Sam Khok such as Wat Bang Na, Wat Hong Pathummawat, Wat Chankapho, Wat Song Phi Nong, Wat Sala Daeng, and Wat Phai Lom. They can also visit the market by the river of Pathum Thani to purchase delicious food as a souvenir. Tourists from Bangkok can rent a boat from Tha Chang Pier and go along the Chao Phraya River to Pathum Thani or rent a boat at the Pathum Thani Municipality’s Pier. Cruising
Cruising is one of the interesting water activities for tourists in Samut Sakhon. The route starts from the Phanthai Norasing Shrine at Khlong Khok Kham. Enjoy the panoramic view of mangroves, pass Khlong Phitthayalongkon to Ban Pak Khlong Pramong and witness the lifestyle of the fishermen and how to do mussels farming. Traveling along Bang Pakong River
Bang Pakong is originated from Korat plateau, pass Prachin Buri, Amphoe Bang Nam Prieo and Bang Khla of Chachoengsao, and exit Thai Bay at Amphoe Bang Pakong with the distance of 230 kilometers. The three hour trip of 25 kilometers starts from Chachoengsao town to view the local Thai nature along both banks. The route passes some interesting places such as Khrommakhun Maruphong Siriwat’s Residence, ancient fortress and walls, previous City Hall, old rafts, many Wats, and landed at Wat Pho Bang Khla to view the spectacular sights of the bats. Tourists can hire boat at the pier of Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan or in town. The long-tailed boat can accommodate 8-10 people, and 40 people for a big boat. The hiring rate can be bargained due to number of passengers and distance.
